CONDITION
Rebound. Sewing structure is weakened. Endpapers made from acidic paper transfer acidity to the adjacent original folios. Paper is dirty, abraded, with many missing areas. Remains of previous repairs and mould stains can be seen. The paper is breaking and flaking in many areas, it has discoloured to yellow and is stained.
The book should be disinfected and conserved.
