CONDITION

Manuscript was rebound in 1928 by priest Bogacki. Endpapers made from acidic paper transfer acidity to the adjacent original folios. The manuscript was written on different types of paper. Folios at the begining of the textblock are not very badly damaged, but from the middle to the end of the textblock, they are in a very bad condition. There are old, discoloured to brown, repairs. The paper is breaking and flaking. Missing areas are developing. Sewing structure is weakened, several folios are loose and torn in the spinefold area. The paper is dirty, discoloured to yellow, in some areas stained and slightly mouldy.

The manuscript should undergo disinfection and conservation treatments to stop the degradation process.
